Integration between cotton production, processing, and transformation. Agronomic, technical, economic, financial, and logistical studies. A project structured by Agran to guide the implementation of the enterprise. Main text for the website Feasibility Study and Structuring of a Cotton Agro-industrial Complex — Bauchi, Nigeria Agran developed the feasibility study and structuring of a cotton agro-industrial complex in Bauchi State, Nigeria, designed to integrate, in a single strategy, agricultural production, processing, and industrial transformation of cotton. The project considered 125,000 hectares of intensive cultivation, encompassing the analysis of the region's edaphoclimatic conditions, production technologies, irrigation systems, mechanization, workforce sizing, harvesting operations, and logistics. In the industrial phase, three processing units were designed, including ginning and fiber classification, as well as the full utilization of by-products. The seed was considered for edible oil production, while other by-products could be used for animal feed production and organic fertilizers. The project also included spinning and weaving stages, expanding the integration and added value of the production chain. Agran integrated the agronomic, technological, industrial, economic, financial, operational, and logistical dimensions, establishing the necessary premises to size investments, processes, infrastructure, and operational structure of the enterprise. As a result, a complete technical and economic-financial dossier was prepared, bringing together studies, analyses, assumptions and guidelines to support the decision-making of the Government of the State of Bauchi and to guide the evolution of the project to its implementation phase. A large-scale project that demonstrates Agran's ability to transform agro-industrial opportunities into structured, technically sound ventures prepared for decision-making and investment.

Structuring Agricultural Processes and Management System — Santo Antônio de Jesus, BA In partnership with Biosalc Sistemas Agro TI, Agran developed a project for a cooperative of the Odebrecht Group, in Santo Antônio de Jesus, Bahia, focused on structuring the processes of an agricultural operation and translating them into a management system. The work started with understanding the operational reality of the field. Agran conducted a survey and analysis of agricultural and administrative processes, covering everything from the activities performed in the production areas to the planning, control, recording, and monitoring of operations. Based on this diagnosis, workflows, information needs, resources used, data collection points, and relationships between planning, execution, and results were mapped, establishing a structured view of the agricultural operation. One of the main challenges was translating the complexity and dynamics of the field into the logic of an information system. Agricultural activity is constantly conditioned by factors such as climate, soil, crop stage, availability of machinery and labor, operational windows, productivity, application of inputs, and events that alter planning. In this context, Agran acted at the interface between agronomic knowledge, operational processes, and information technology, transforming the needs of the operation into requirements, flows, and information structures capable of being incorporated into the system. The project made it possible to establish a basis more aligned with the reality of the operation, causing the technology to adapt to the logic of the field—and not the field to the logic of the technology. The data generated by agricultural activities began to be structured in a way that supports monitoring, operational control, and decision-making. More than modeling processes, Agran contributed to transforming the reality of the field into operational intelligence, connecting agronomy, management, and technology to build management solutions that are truly aligned with agribusiness.

Coopamido / Odebrecht Group — Technical Assistance to Small Cassava Producers Agran developed an agricultural technical support program for Coopamido, in partnership with the Odebrecht Group, aimed at assisting small rural producers benefiting from a program of free land distribution for cassava cultivation, whose production was marketed through the cooperative. The project aimed to support the structuring of productive activity, contributing to the development of technically oriented crops by the beneficiary farmers, with better production conditions and integration into the cooperative's supply chain. The work involved monitoring the producers' needs, providing technical guidance for crop development, and supporting the organization of agricultural activities, considering local cultivation conditions, available resources, and the particularities of family farming. The work also sought to align the production practices adopted by the farmers with the supply and production organization needs established by the cooperative. One of the main challenges was reconciling the technical and operational limitations of small producers with the demands of an integrated agricultural operation, in which individual production needed to be linked to a collective system of marketing and processing. In this context, Agran contributed to connecting technical assistance, productive organization, and commercial integration, supporting the development of cassava production and strengthening the bond between the beneficiary farmers and the cooperative. More than just offering cultivation support, the work sought to contribute to the viability of agricultural activity, promoting the integration of small producers into a cooperative structure capable of linking rural production, income generation, and supply chain management.
